SOAR Charter Academy End of the Year Auction

​ "Get your hands on a good book" 3 shelf bookcase with kids' hands cutout from a Dr. Seuss book (Yertle the Turtle) with names on their respective hands.  â€‹

Each 7th grade student's name and a rememberance quote is featured.

Winner of this auction will take home a three shelf book case or trophy case where your child will be able to store all their books or trophies.  The book shelf is painted in Americana colors of red, white and blue.  Every student's handprint will be painted onto the shelves and labeled with their name.  This shelf is bright, colorful and sure to add a patriotic touch to any room.  Imagine ten years from now when your child can look at their prints and remember what their hands looked like and remember all of their friends on the shelves!  What an American Treasure! 

Winner of this auction will take home a regular size Jenga set that is decorated with American colors of red, white and blue.  Every student in our class decorated two blocks that describe a part of who they are.  All their individual blocks will build an original jenga set that no one else will have.  This set will provide your child with life-long memories of every third grader in our class.

 Each student in Mrs. Braudaway's 4th grade class will make an embossed piece of tin that represents them.  Tiles will be mounted onto dark stained wood. A diagram of the students names will be included.  This beautiful art piece was created by Mrs. Braudaway's fourth grade class. Each student embossed a tin tile to represent themselves. The tiles are mounted on a beautiful walnut stained board. The art piece comes with a diagram and short description of each tile. This is a beautiful way to commemorate a wonderful school year.

6th grade Gourmet Herb Garden Window Box with hand trowel, gloves, and Wormie the water sensor.  Herbs include spearmint, oregano, thyme, basil, parsely, tarragon, and chives.

 With the help of volunteered time, expertise, and materials generously donated by Barbare Ell and Hope Ell, our fifth graders created this whimsical tribute to some of their favorite iPad apps that we used this year in class.

Mrs. Ortega's 1st graders have made a heart shaped photo of students' hands with the quote "We hold our child's hand for a little while... but they hold our hearts forever."

 8th Grade Oh the Places You'll Go book with illustrated caricatures of each 8th grader by Blake Bergman. Each 8th grader will sign their caricature and write which high school they will be going to :)

The seventh graders at SOAR this year are offering for the end of year auction a serving tray in patriotic colors, painted with a fierce soaring eagle. This tray would make a lovely addition to your Fourth of July entertaining, as well as a memento of your student's time at SOAR. Students have star-studded the edges of the tray with a star and their initials, adding their personal mark to this piece. This tray would make a great serving tray, a lovely place to corral craft supplies, or simply an elegant, shabby chic piece of decor.

Kindergarten Recipe Book 2014-2015 Original recipes from 21 kindergarten students at SOAR. Along with their version of their favorite food, drink, or dessert, an actual recipe of their food choice is included. A book full of photos, cuisine, and smiles.

With this auction your child will get a special front row seat to every monthly school assembly. A nice comfy chair will be set out that only they have permission to sit on for the entire assembly!  They will be so excited to sit on the chair that will be theirs for the entire year!!! (Literally a cool little chair that is labeled VIP.

A collage of our lunchtime SFL teams (SOAR Football League) in a red white and blue painted shadow box or painted frame with a SOAR football jersey centered display. Recognizing the students (mostly 8th graders, and some 7th graders)who self organized to play the game they love at lunch.

Mrs. Roger's 1st graders created canvas tree using each students fingerprints as leaves.

5th grade is creating a large U.S.A. mounted map, where each student has decorated their own state (from their state report).
